Steering Committee

The Steering Committee is a group of volunteers whose role is to help coordinate and facilitate the projects of the various Transition Guelph working groups. We also meet on a regular basis to chart the progress of Transition Guelph in helping build resilience and sustainability in the community, and to help plan collaborations and partnerships with other local groups, businesses and act as a liaison to local government.

We're currently looking at the possibilities for acquiring legal status for Transition Guelph, as leverage for obtaining grants more easily, hiring interns and paid workers through employment assistance programs and making use of other government assistance initiatiives.
