The Local Economy group is dedicated to strengthening the local economy through promoting local businesses and the farmers market, encouraging people to make use of local CSAs and other sources of local food, and working with the Guelph-Wellington Buy Local, Buy Fresh initiative. We are also looking at various local currency models, time banks, and other systems to see if any might be a good fit for Guelph.
